The Bert Corkum Memorial 5 Mile Road Race is hosted by the Bluenose Striders. This year the event begins at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at
the Lunenburg Community
Center, off Green Street, Lunenburg and is a single loop course with two hills near the end.
Please arrive early for registration. There will be one water stop on the course.
The event is low key and informal. The entry fee is $6.00, with registration on the race day. But there are prizes for the overall winners and age groups winners. There will be showers and refreshments for all after the race at the Lunenburg High School.
